Mr. Andrews passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Bay Shores Nursing Home. Age 98 years. The son of the late Louis and Nelly (Whalen) Andrews was born July 18, 1919 in Highland Park, Michigan. Mr. Andrews was a former member of Visitation Catholic Church and was retired from General Motors Bay City Plant. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps. during WWII, enjoyed bowling, was a member of the American Bowling Congress and enjoyed golfing.

Mr. Andrews is survived by two sons, Thomas (Irene) Andrews of Ormond Beach, FL and Rodney and Karen Andrews of Auburn; four grandchildren, Tim (Amy) Andrews, Jill (Bill) Leonick, Vicky (Rob) Graboske and John (JJenna) Andrews; eleven great grandchildren, Shayla (Lon), Tyler, Lindsay, Ryan, Samantha, Adam, Anne, Andrew, Raven, Aahnashei and Mirai; one great granddaughter, Ava; one brother, Daniel (Helen) Andrews; one brother-in-law, Calvin Matson. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife, Alice in 1984; two sisters, Berty Sherrer and Ann Matson; one brother, Edward Andrews; one sister-in-law, Mary Jo Andrews; one granddaughter, Lisa Aviles and one great grandson, Damien Aviles.

Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Mary Ann Helie followed by Military Honors conducted by the Bay County Veteran Council with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Memorial cards for the wishes of the family will be available at the funeral home.
