George L. Hernandez

George passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 82. The son of the late Secondtino and Candiladia Hernandez was born February 22, 1941 in San Antonio, Texas. George was retired from General Motors and enjoyed golfing.

George is survived by his wife Maria T. Hernandez; four children, April Hernandez, George Hernandez Jr., Alex (Lisa) Hernandez and Heidi (Steven) Shaw; six grandchildren, Isabella Shaw, Alex Hernandez Jr., Shane Hernandez, Alysa Hernandez, Zacharia Hernandez, Joshua Hernandez and Isabella Hamilton; two great grandchildren and 21 brothers and sisters. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his daughter, Joann Hernandez.

At the request of Mr. Hernandez, cremation has taken place and no services are being planned at the Gephart Funeral Home. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
