Mr. Lang passed away, Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 76 years. The son of the late George and Elizabeth (Oblender) Lang was born September 27, 1937 in Bay City. George was retired from General Motors, an avid Detroit Tigers fan and served in the United States Marine Corp.Mr. Lang is survived by his wife, Charleen Lang; his children and step children, Connie Sharon, Craig Lang, Michelle (Chris) Pomerville, Gary (Lori) Julian, Wendy (Fred) Gruszynski and Monty (Andrea) Mondeau Jr.; eighteen grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one brother, Gary (Nancy) Lang; one sister, Sandy Lang; three brothers-in-law, Robert Crites, Wayne (Linda) Willson and Gary (Lynn) Willson and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents George was also preceded in death by his wife, Marilyn Lang; one daughter, Tammy Fica and one sister, Elizabeth Crites.Funeral and Committal services will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor David S. Ferranti under the auspices of the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Tuesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services.
