Georgia V. Klei

Mrs. Klei passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at Brian's House. Age 93 years. She was born December 14, 1916 in Detroit, Michigan. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law; Karren (Paul) Foster-Reagh and Penny Holland both of Bay City, seven grandchildren; Lisa (Chris) Severs, Peter (Rosemarie) Klei, Don (Jean) Foster, Jeffrey Klei, Stephanie (Winston) Benedict, Kevin (Sarah) Foster, Jennifer (Zachary) Godek, twelve great grandchildren; Jeff and Matthew Foster, Dale and Raymond Klei, Brendan and Brian Klei, Zachary and Amanda Severs, Thomas and Emily Benedict and Olivia and Ella Foster, her extended family; June and Gary Feeney and their daughter; Joy Feeney. She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty eight years Raymond H. Klei on March 16, 2010, one son; Raymond Peter Klei in 1984 and her parents Peter and Jessie (Howey) Gundunas. The Klei family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Brian's House for the kind and compassionate care they provided for Mr. Klei during the time he spent with them. Funeral services will take place Tuesday April 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church 510 W. Ivy St. . Officiating will be Rev. William H. Allwardt with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Sunday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Klei will be taken to the church to lie in state on Tuesday from 10:00 a. m. and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Zion Lutheran church will be available at the funeral home.
