Georgianna H. Rivard

After a three year battle with breast cancer and with deep sadness in our hearts we let go of our youngest sister Georgie to continue her journey. She passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Comfort Care Senior Living at the age of 61 years. The daughter of the late Arthur and Geraldine Rex was born March 24, 1956 in Bay City. She enjoyed playing bingo and attending meals at local Senior Centers. Left behind to cherish her memories are her step children, Rebecca Stein, Todd Rivard, Ryan Rivard, Laura Young ; her sisters and brothers, Mary Ann O'Brien, Christine Mantila, Elaine (Mark) Rubis, Francine Wisniewski, Rosalind (Rod) Dishaw, Richard (Renee) Rex, Bruce Rex and Michael (Elaine) Rex; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Rivard; one sister, Susan Roberts and one brother, Arthur Rex Jr. Visitation will take place Wednesday, May 10, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. followed by a time of sharing. Private interment will take place in St. Patrick's Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to Heartland Hospice or the Toni and Trish House.
