Gerald W. McCann

Mr. McCann passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 75 years. The son of the late Gerald C. and Elizabeth (Legacy) McCann was born March 22, 1943 in Bay City, Michigan and has resided here his entire life. Mr. McCann retired from General Motors, loved his dogs and enjoyed hunting, fishing and building homes.

Mr. McCann is survived by his wife of 55 years, Hazel McCann; one son, Gerald C. (Michelle) McCann; one daughter, Kimberly (Kenneth) Hiltz; four grandsons, Gerald M. (Kayla) McCann, Matthew (Savannah) McCann, Austin (Danielle) Scharrer and Tyler Hiltz; one great granddaughter, Emma McCann; one great grandson, Aiden McCann; two sisters, Patricia (Michael) Hartley and Janet Prater; one brother, James McCann; special friend, Tim Harder and many nieces and nephews.

At the request of Mr. McCann cremation has taken place and there will be no viewing or services at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
