Gerald T. View

Mr. Gerald T. View, of Kawkawlin, passed away with his family by his side on Wednesday morning, April 19, 2017 at Sheffield Bay. Age 75. The son of the late Ernest and Vivian (Scram) View, he was born on November 4, 1941 in Bay City. Jerry graduated from T.L. Handy High School. He was retired from Greene's Gas Co. after 35 years of service. Jerry had a great sense of humor and in his spare time enjoyed hunting, fishing and golf.
On July 1, 1961 Jerry married the former Donna M. Greene and she survives his passing along with their four children, Jerry View, Renee (Gregg) Roth, Stephanie (Bruce) Ireland and Denise (Curt) Cramer; seven grandchildren, Melissa (Josh) Bishop, Eric Roth, Jessica (Charlie) Steenstra, Allen Ireland, Courtney, Aaron and Rachel Cramer; four great-grandchildren, Cecelia and Eliana Bishop and Derk and Madelyn Steenstra; his brother and three sisters, Ron (Pat) View, Carol O'Neil, Pat (Frank) Ferranti and Janet (Bill) Zerby; brothers and sisters-in-law, David (Mary) Greene, Robert Greene, Sharon (Larry) Groulx and Shirley (John) Chesser; a special family friend, Mickey DuBay; and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, April 21, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Officiating will be Mr. Keith Nelson. Private interment will be in Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. www.gephartfuneralhome.com
