Geraldine J. Smith

Smith, Geraldine J. (Jerry) Pinconning, Michigan Mrs. Smith passed away Friday, May 6, 2011 at Brian's House. Age 79 years. She was born March 26, 1932 in Bay City. She was a member of Community of Christ Church of Bentley, MI. She enjoyed cooking gardening, fishing, camping and especially spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of sixty years Newell Clifford Smith, two sons; William Scott Smith of Linwood and Mark Allen Smith of Pinconning, three grandchildren and their spouses; Jesse and Jennifer Smith of Pinconning, Heather and Dan Lijewski of Linwood and Nicholas Smith of Pinconning, two great grandchildren; Connor and Calee Lijewski, one brother and sister-in-law; Danny and Kathy Asch of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; John and Margaret Taylor and one son; Randy Lee Smith. A Memorial Service will take place Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at Community of Christ Church in Bentley, MI. Officiating will be Priest Jeralee Mania. At the request of Mrs. Smith cremation has taken place and there will be no visitation a the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. The family will be present at the church on Tuesday to receive visitors from 12:00 noon and until the time of services. Memorial cards for Brian's House will be available at the funeral home.
