Gertrude Martha Schwartz

Schwartz, Gertrude Martha Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Schwartz passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center. She was born April 30, 1923 in Bay City, Michigan. She was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church. Mrs. Schwartz worked for many years at Prestolite Corp. She and her husband enjoyed polka dancing. She is survived by her husband Elmer J. Schwartz whom she married September 29, 1951. Also surviving are her daughter; Susan Horne and her fiancée Tom Fodo of Bay City, her grandchildren; Alyssa (Jacob Trovillion) Horne of Vassar and Ryan Horne of Caro, her great grandchildren; Kaydence Kaster and Kylie Trovillion and several nieces and nephews and her caregiver Dave Horne for his kind and compassionate care. She was preceded in death by her parents; George and Mary (Borchardt) Sebald, one brother; Louis and three sisters; Ruth, Dorothy and Florence. The family would also like to extend a special Thank you to the staff at Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center for the special care our loved one received during her time there. Funeral Service will take place Friday, January 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Paul E. Schaewe with interment following in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 O'clock Noon until the time of services. Memorial Envelopes for Bay Shores Senior Care and Rehab Center Activity Dept., St. John's Ev.
