Hartley, Glen C. "Chip" Bay City, Michigan Glen C. "Chip" Hartley passed away Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Bay Regional Medical Center. Age 56 years. He was born October 2, 1954 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. He was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, he was employed in retail management for many years and was a manufacturers rep. Glen was a skilled handyman who took great pride in perfection and was an avid pool player. He is survived by his wife of twenty seven years Julie Hartley, three sons and one daughter-in-law; Matthew (Rosemary) Hartley and their son Cole of Keller, TX, Brent Hartley and Derek Hartley both at home, two brothers and two sisters-in-law; Brian and Peggy Hartley and Kevin and Michelle Hartley, four sisters and four brothers-in-law; Eileen and Herman Marshall, Shannon and Bob Woodman, Kelly and Phil Knope all of Bay City and Kim and Gerald Scales of Saginaw, his father-in-law; Robert Seward of Rhodes, two brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; Mike and Cindy Seward of Barrington, Rhode Island and Jeff and M.J. Seward of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. Glen was preceded in death by his parents; George and Eileen Scheidler, two brothers; Shaun Hartley and Terry Hartley and his mother-in-law; Donna Seward. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert S. Gohm with private Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. At the Request of Mr. Hartley his body was donated to University of Michigan Medical Science Program. The family will be present at the church on Thursday to receive visitors from 9:00 a.m. and until the time of the Mass.
