Gloria Lynn Bethune

Mrs. Bethune passed away on Friday, March 5, 2021 at Covenant HealthCare - Cooper at the age of 53. The daughter of the late James Franklin and Sharon Lynn (Kauffman) Penn was born January 22, 1968 in Farmington, Michigan. Gloria worked for NBC 25 and loved spending time with her daughter and granddaughters.
Gloria is survived by her husband, William Daniel Bethune; one daughter, Sharon Lynn (Miguel Angel) Hernandez; two granddaughters, Isabella Rose and Aaliah Lynn; her faith adopted daughter, Courtney Ann Mateos and her children, Kristine Marie and Kayden Lee; one brother, James F. (Janet) Penn Jr. and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A time of sharing will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at the Gephart Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Tuesday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. until the time of sharing by family and friends. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 25 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
