Gloria D. Marquardt

Mrs. Marquardt passed away Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Heartland Health Care Hampton at, the age of 96 years. The daughter of the late George Edward and Lucy Jane (Williams) Robinson was born December 29, 1920 in Omer, MI. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Mrs. Marquardt worked for many years at Quality Bakery. She enjoyed going fishing, doing crafts and crocheting.
She is survived by two children, Al (Kathy) Marquardt Jr. and Norma (Jerry Hadd) Kimbrue; seven grandchildren, Diane (Joel ) Watz, Kim (Dave) Walter, Becky (Bob) Carmona, Deb (Kyle) Ferguson, Gail (Rick) Westenburg , Cindy Hadd and Vicki (Eric) Faustin; twelve great grandchildren; one sister, Pauline Caverly; one brother, David (Donna) Robinson; brothers-in-law, Carl Marquardt and John Libera; sister-in-law, Stella Robinson, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Alvin H. Marquardt Sr. and he passed away November 11, 2004; two daughters, Loretta Adams and an infant daughter, Delphine Marquardt; her brothers and sisters, Albert Robinson, Bud Robinson, Dorothy Robinson, Eileen Kocot, Anna Libera and Flossie Barry.
Funeral and Committal Services will take place Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Ev Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Richard C. Starr with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Marquardt will be taken to the church on Tuesday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
