Gordon A. Bukowski "Gordo"

Gordon passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the age of 68 years. He was born in Bay City on March 9, 1954 to the late Anthony and Harriet (Summers) Bukowski. Gordon was a devoted iron worker with Local 25, loved his job, the people he worked with, the places it took him to meet new people and the experiences with them. Gordon loved nature especially fishing which he was a professional at. He enjoyed capturing images of wildlife through his camera lens more than the thrill of the hunt. He really lit up when he had a guitar in his hands. He loved motorcycle riding and his motorcycle club, White Trash Racing. He enjoyed the enduro races and scrambles with the club. Gordo was known for his story telling and jokes, he told them to everyone he knew.
Gordon is survived by his sisters, Cindy (Randy) Anderson and Bonnie (Dennis) Reinke; niece, Morgan; fiancé Dawn Harwood; children, Nicole (Jason) Duemler and Kristy (Joe) Delaney and their children.
Funeral service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Lashley Funeral Home, 318 Pearl Street, Mio, Michigan 48647. Per Gordons wishes cremation will take place following the service. Friends and family may visit the Gephart Funeral Home on Monday, August 22, 2022 from 1:00 to 7:00 p.m. and from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at Lashley Funeral Home. Interment of ashes will be held at a later date at the Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Michigan. Contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
