Grace M. Schwab

Schwab, Grace M. Bay City, Michigan Grace passed away early Saturday morning, December 10, 2011 at Huron Woods Nursing Home. Age 90 years. The daughter of the late William and Blanche (Talbot) Jean was born June 23, 1921 in Bay City. She was a member of Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church. She worked at Bay City Chevrolet during W.W. II, and later she worked in the Library at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic School, Anderson Pharmacy and Wiechmans Department Store. She is survived by her children; George Schwab, Janet (Fred) Rafanello, Greg (Mary) Schwab, Gary (Therese) Schwab and Joanne Buck, twenty grandchildren, several great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband; William G. Schwab and her son-in-law; Mike Buck. Grace's family would like to extend a special Thank you to the staff of Huron Woods. The Funeral Liturgy will take place Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. George J. Serour with interment following in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Tuesday from 10:30 until the time of services of services. In Lieu of Flowers Memorial Cards for Our Lady of the Visitation Catholic Church or the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Fund will be available at the funeral home.
