Gregory A. Christie

Greg passed away Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 70 years while together with his wife holding her hand. He was born in Bay City on February 28, 1950 to the late Clement and Madeline (Claes) Christie. On April 20, 1974 he married his high school sweetheart and they were married for 46 years. Greg worked and retired in 2005 from General Motors. Greg was a founding member of the Wooden Bullet Hunting and Fishing Club. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.
Greg is survived by his son, Ryan (Karrie) Christie; daughter, Ashley (Derek) Miller; grandchildren, Madelyn Christie, Landon Miller and Bryce Miller; brothers, Roger (Diane) and Mark (Patti) Christie; many nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Robert Pelletier and Craig Sitkowski; sisters-in-law, Debbie Grundner, Patricia Sitkowski and Carol Christie; special friends, Szczepanski family, Kloska family and the Norling family. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his sisters, Darlene Pelletier and Donna (Dick) Walkowiak; brother, Clement "Pete" and great niece, Cassidy Christie.
