Greg passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 23, 2021 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 66 years. He was born on January 7, 1955 to Ernest and Hazel (Gray) Kish. Greg is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Barbara Kish (Sczepanski). Greg and Barbara met while attending high school at Bay City Central and married on April 28, 1973 in Bay City. They were the greatest example to everyone who knew them, of how a dedicated, loving marriage should be. They resided in Bay City throughout their married life, and shared two children, Brett and Eric (EJ) Kish.
Greg was the most dedicated son, husband and father supporting his family and eventually opening Kish Dental Laboratory in Bay City. He lived his life giving back to others, took immense pride in his work and shared his gentle heart with family and friends, but also never ignored the needs of a stranger.
Greg was an active member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Bay City where he was able to continue sharing his love of music with others. In addition to the love of his church, he enjoyed spending his free time at his favorite place, Maple Leaf Golf Course where he formed life-long friendships with many fellow golfers.
Greg is survived by his wife, Barbara; son Brett (Jackie) Kish; grandchildren, Cooper, Coleman, Brecklyn, Olivia and Kara; mother, Hazel Kish; siblings, Tim (Mary Sharon), Marisue (Bill) Johnson, Kathryn (Paul) Beauvais, Bill Kish, Sally Kish; many nieces, nephews and great nephews. Greg was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Kish and his son, EJ Kish.
Private services will take place with private burial in Fremont Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church. For online condolences visit
