Greg passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the home of his brother and sister-in-law; Jesse and Kim LaForest on Wednesday, July 8, 2015. He was born January 11, 1954 in Bay City, Michigan. Greg enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors as well as playing cards with family and friends, he also enjoyed auctions and especially enjoyed the Clark County Auction in Las Vegas. Left behind to cherish Greg's memories are his wife; Lee Ann(Kordeliski) LaForest whom he married February 26, 2003 in Las Vegas, Nevada, his father; Raymond LaForest of Essexville, MI, his children; Tanya Gehm of Bay City, MI and Roy La Forest of Luzerne, MI, his step children; Ronald Berry of Bay City, MI, Lisa (Berry) and Greg Crotser of Grand Rapids, MI and Kyle Berry of Las Vegas, Nevada, his grandchildren; Kayleigh Foster, Gabriella Foster, Embure Gehm, Colten Gehm, Alex Berry, Isabelle Croster, Ben Croster and Madalyn Croster, his siblings; Linda (Jack) Brandhurst, of Linden, IN, Theresa LaForest of Finch Ontario, Canada, Gerald LaForest of Bay City, MI, John (Barb) LaForest of Greenville, WI, Jesse (Kim) LaForest of Bay City, MI, Calvin LaForest of Bay City, MI, Deborah (Lynn) Harper of Pulaski, NY and Gina LaForest of Bay City, MI, two brothers-in-law; Scott (Deb) Kordelski of Colorado and Rick Kordeliski of Bay City, MI and his close friends; Bill and Mary of Las Vegas. Greg was preceded in death by his step-mother; Calista (Spencer) Coyer LaForest, his mother; Pauline (Wood) LaForest Turner and her husband Ronald Turner of Chesterville, Ontario Canada, his father-in-law and mother-in-law; Joe Kordelski and Pauline (Vanhove) Kordeliski as well as his son-in-law; Peter Gehm. Funeral and Committal Services will take Friday at 1:00 p.m. at St. Patrick's Cemetery Chapel with burial following. Officiating will be Rev. Fr. Dale Orlik followed by Military Honor's conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. The family will be present at the Cemetery Chapel from 12:30 until the time of services to receive family and friends.
