Schnack, Hannemeta E. (Wichmann) Bay City, Michigan Hannemeta E. Schnack (Wichmann), 84 years of age, passed away Saturday evening, December 25, 2010 at Brian's House. She was born January 15, 1926 in Lemkenhafen, Germany and immigrated with her husband and son to the United States in February 1955. She resided near Chicago, Illinois until 1995 when she moved to Bay City, Michigan. She was the daughter of Ferdinand and Elsie (Johnsen) Wichmann. She was a homemaker and created many beautiful stitchery pictures. She loved her flowers and gardening and greatly enjoyed fishing. She is survived by her son Behrend Schoettke and his wife Debra, four grandchildren, Kelly Schoettke, Nichole Schoettke, Todd Reid and Jason and Beth (Reid) Holben and three great-grandchildren, Justus Holben, Reid Holben and Ayla Holben. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and her special friends, Jim and Darlene Webb and Tony Wojciechowski, Jake and Virginia Hutter and Doris Appold. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Schnack in July 1994, also her parents, three sisters and six brothers.
