Harlan G. Eisenman, Kawkawlin, Michigan Mr. Eisenman passed away Thursday evening March 5, 2015 at his residence with his loving family at his side. Age 82 years. The son of the late George and Alice (Frank) Eisenman was born March 16, 1932 in Kawkawlin and has resided there all of his life. He was an active member of St. Bartholomew Ev. Lutheran Church and graduated from T.L. Handy High School. Harlan was a lifelong farmer, served as a Farmer Director of Monitor Sugar Co. for twenty nine years and was the retired owner of Eisenman Farms. He had a great love for children, enjoyed traveling, gardening, grocery shopping, cooking and most of all spending time with his family. On August 30, 1952 he married his wife of sixty two years the former Leona Ruth Reiss and she is left behind to cherish his memories along with four children and their spouses; Gene and Barbara Eisenman of Dearborn, MI, Rick Eisenman and his fiancee; Valerie Martin of Kawkawlin, Cindy and Randy Howell of Kawkawlin and Brenda and Kirk Birkenheier of Grayslake, IL, two special like sons; Craig Bauer of Bay City and Ted Gorkowski of Auburn, three grandchildren, Harmony and Landon Martin of Chattanooga, TN, Scott Howell of Kawkawlin and Mark Eisenman of Chicago, IL, four great grandchildren; Zoe, Tate and Finlay Martin and Hunter Howell, one sister and brother-in-law; Marlene and Lyle McNally of Bay City and many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters; Betty Bauer and Delores Bleck. The Funeral and Committal Service will take place Monday, March 9, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Larry Seafert. The family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday to receive visitors from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for "Make a Wish Foundation or the "Donor's Favorite Charity" will be available.
