Harvey L. Miller

Harvey passed away Monday, morning, December 12, 2016 at Covenant Healthcare-Harrison in Saginaw. Age 73 years. The son of the late Elmer and Vera (Niles) Miller was born October 21, 1943 in Clinton, Iowa. Harvey retired from Dow Chemical Co. as an electrician. He enjoyed spending time in Florida, metal detecting, deer hunting and playing shuffle board. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife the former Sally K. McManus whom he married July 21, 1979; his children, Andrew Miller, Aaron Miller; Andrea (Joe) Holcomb, Yvonne (Steve) Grauf, Lori (Tom) Dusterhoft and Jill (James) McDow; his grandchildren, Brooke and Blake Holcomb, Jason and Brandon Grauf, Sydney Horner, Madison and Megan McDow. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Maurice Miller. At the request of Harvey cremation has taken place. A Memorial service will take place Friday, December 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive family and friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of services.
