Hazel M. Brown

Mrs. Hazel M. Brown, of Bay City, passed away after a lingering illness on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at McLaren Bay Region, age 59. She was born March 7, 1955 in Reed City, Michigan. Hazel was a member of Peoples Baptist Church. She was always the caregiver of her family and most of all enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.Hazel is survived by her mother, Mary E. Reed of Bay City; her husband, George Smyth of Bay City; her three children, Larry (Erma) Brown, Robert (Tracey) Brown and Mary (John) Dutt, all of Bay City; and her many adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Hazel was preceded in death by her two brothers, John and Chuck VanNoller; and a sister, Evelyn Brown.It was Hazel's desire for cremation to take place. A Memorial Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18, 2014 at Peoples Baptist Church.  Officiating will be Rev.
