Hazel F. Rose

Hazel F. Rose (Jean) Bay City, Michigan The daughter of the later John Miller and Lucetta Siefferly passed away Tuesday May 31, 2011 at Bay Medical Care Facility. Age 86 years. She was born September 15, 1924 in Bay City. Hazel was formerly employed at the VA Medical Center in Long Beach, CA as a nurses assistant for twenty seven years. She enjoyed Jigsaw puzzles and spending time working in her yard. Hazel is survived by three children; Roger (Pauline) Jean of Oregon, Gloria A. Canute and Terry Jean of Florida, seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers; Clyde Bedell and James Hoyle and her cousin; Helen Morrissette. The family of Hazel would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff at Bay Medical Care Facility for the kind and compassionate care they extended to her during her stay with them. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Friday, June 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Nancy Rivet with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services.
