Sauvage, Hazel M. Tawas City, Michigan Formerly of Bay City, Michigan Our beloved mother and grandmother went to her Heavenly Home early Thursday morning May 2, 2013 at her daughters home in Tawas City surrounded by her loving family. Age 94 years. She was born July 16, 1918 in Millersburg, MI. Hazel was a former member of New Hope Baptist Church in Bay City and a member of Auburn United Methodist Church in Auburn, Indiana. She was a member of the Temple Glenn Chapter O.E.S., Jobs Daughters and enjoyed golf, reading and a good game of euchre. She is survived by two daughters; Joyce Vetter and her husband William of Auburn, IN and Carole Sullivan and her significant other; George Strauer of Tawas City, five beloved grandchildren; Jennifer and John Schwartz, Patricia Vetter and her significant other; Vicki Knapp, David and Cheryl Vetter, Eric and Dawn Sullivan and Brian and Amanda Sullivan, thirteen great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law; L.D. "Bob" and Ruth Gray, one brother-in-law; Ernest Sauvage and many nieces and nephews. On August 31, 1946 she married Wendall C. Sauvage and he preceded her in death on February 12, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents; Leslie D. and Martha L. (Freier) Gray and three sisters; Margaret, Marie and Sophia. Funeral Services will take place Monday morning May 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Daryl E. Burt with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. Memorial cards for Tawas Village Assisted Living or the Donor's Favorite Charity will be available at the funeral home.
