Helen R. (Bogart) Dodge

Mrs. Dodge passed away on Friday, January 29, 2016 at the Toni and Trish House. Age 86 years. The daughter of the late Alfred and Helen (Seeley) Manyen was born July 5, 1929 in Kawkawlin, Michigan. Mrs. Dodge was a member of Our Lady of Peace Parish - St. Mary's Church, enjoyed reading and was retired from the accounting department of Sears and Roebuck. Mrs. Dodge is survived by one son, Timothy P. Bogart; two grandchildren, Selena Ann Bogart and John Huerta; five great grandchildren, Alexis, Hayleigh, Kylor, Kamron and Darian; four sisters-in-law, Linda and Helen Manyen, Mary Dorion and Carol Dodge; one brother-in-law, Don Dodge; special niece, Sherry Hadd; special friend, Sr. Maurita R.S.M. and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Dodge was also preceded in death by her husbands, Doug Bogart and Harold (Denver) Dodge; seven brothers, Franklin, Leroy, Vernon, Virgil, Eugene, Donald and Melvin; three sisters, Mary Couture, Eloise Moore and Beatrice Manyen. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of McLaren Bay Region, Bay Medical Care Facility and the Toni and Trish House. The Funeral Liturgy and Rite of Committal will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Our Lady of Peace Parish - St. Mary's Church. The Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Patrick M. Jankowiak. Private inurnment will take place in Floral Gardens Cemetery at a later date. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Mrs. Dodge will be taken to the church to lie instate on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
