Helen J. Ellison Bay City, Michigan Mrs. Ellison passed peacefully early Sunday morning, July 14, 2013 at Evergreen A.F.C. Home in Essexville at the age of 90 years. She was born October 19, 1922 in Hamilton, OH and has resided in Bay City since the age of twenty one years. She was a devoted member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star - Bay Chapter #219 and enjoyed crafts, cooking, gardening, golfing and bowling. Helen is survived by two daughters and one son-in-law; Charlotte and Tom Yurgaites of Midland and Darlene Kaczmarek and her fiancé Robert King of Essexville, eight grandchildren; Brian and Duane Ellison, Becky Katzinger, Scott (Deb) Yurgaites, Leigh Ann (Jay) Cook, Angie (Charlie) Emery, Michael (Carrie) King and Nicole (Jim) Lyman and three special nephews; Bob, Jack and Rory Swan. On October 11, 1945 she married Glayson C. Ellison and he preceded her in death on March 10, 2001. Helen was also preceded in death by her parents; Grace (Riddle) and Milton Clark, one daughter; Sharon Terry on June 9, 2009 and one son; Charles Ellison on February 17, 2006, one sister; Josephine Kessling and one nephew; Gary Swan. Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Jon Essex with interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for Memorial Presbyterian Church will be available at the funeral home.
