Mrs. Witkovsky passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015 after a brief illness. Age 85. The daughter of the late Walter and Frieda (Wiebeck) Benecke was born February 9, 1930 in Pinconning. She was a member of Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and spending time with her grandchildren She is survived by her husband Robert Witkovsky whom she married in 2006, her daughters; Karen (Gary) Burgess of Charlotte, NC., Judy (Gary) MacDougall of Essexville, Linda (Dave) Slosser of Elkhart Lake, WI., Lois (Bill) Matuszewski of Bay City, Cheryl (Dan) Slosser of Bay City, seven grandchildren; Amanda (Matt) McNitt, Ryan (Brandi) Slosser, Jeff Hebner, Michael MacDougall, Emily Matuszewski Matthew and Sarah Slosser, , her great grandchildren; Landon McNitt and Alleigh Slosser, one stepson and his wife; Michael and Sheryl Witkovsky, one sister, Margaret Haggitt of Bay City, one brother; Harold and Elda Benecke of Bay City, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husbands; Edgar Landosky (father of her children) and Melvin Priem and one sister; Doris Bedard. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Richard D. Starr with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Mrs. Witkovsky will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
