Helen L. Mueller(Mauntler) Bay City, Michigan

Mrs. Mueller passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at Sheffield Bay Assisted Living, age 98. The daughter of the late Fred E. and Alma Mauntler was born April 28, 1919, in Milwaukee, WI. She was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, sang in the choir, was a member of the Parish Service Guild and the L.W.M.L. She volunteered for over forty years at General Hospital and also was a volunteer at the Economy Center.
She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, James and Holly Mueller, Thomas and Terri Mueller; her grandchildren, John (Lindsay) Mueller, Melissa (Matt) Dowling, Laura (Justin) Schmidle, Shannon (Gabe) Phelps, Michael (Elaine) Mueller, Bianca Mueller and Savanah Mueller. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Frederick C. Mueller whom she married August 7, 1943, and he passed away October 31, 2002, two brothers, Fred and Howard Mauntler. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Faith Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Matthew Hall with interment in Elm Lawn Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. to receive family and friends. Mrs. Mueller will be taken to the church on Saturday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
