Helen B. Schoenheit

Helen was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at age 95. The daughter of the late Paul and Alice (Tomke) Schroeder was born November 2, 1924 in Midland, Michigan. Helen was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, the Ladies Guild, LWML and was a volunteer at the hospital. She also enjoyed playing cards, cross-stitching, puzzles and traveling, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Helen is survived by her daughter, Kay (Earl) Arnold; four grandchildren, Sherrell Williams, Ernest Schoenheit, Adam Arnold and his fiancee, Patricia Ramirez, and Alica (Jason) Woodrick; four great grandchildren, Angeline, Barry, Erich Williams and Robert Schoenheit; sister-in-law, Bonnie Schroeder and many dear nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Schoenheit; one son, William Schoenheit; sisters and brother, Vi, Wilma, Grace and Harvey and one sister-in-law, Carol Schoenheit.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic a private funeral service will take place on Friday, May 8, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Steve Schilke with private interment following at Holy Cross Lutheran Cemetery. In lieu of flowers those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Zion Lutheran Church or the Lutheran Hour.
