Hugh A. Cameron

Mr. Cameron passed away on Sunday, September 16, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 60 years. The son of the late J. Raymond and Mary Cameron Wells was born September 18, 1957 in Bay City, Michigan. Mr. Cameron was a member of Corpus Christi Parish, he was a devoted father and husband, loved the outdoors, animals and was a car enthusiast.

Mr. Cameron is survived by his wife, Debra (Gavord) Cameron; three children, Joseph Cameron, Sean Cameron and his fiancee, Kelsey George, Kalynn Cameron and soon to be granddaughter, Remington; three brothers, Robert (Katherine) Cameron, Thomas (Jan) Cameron and Brian (Susan) Cameron; two sisters, Janilee Rinz and Elaine Kochany; two brothers-in-law, Todd (Tracy) Gavord and James Gavord and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Mr. Cameron was also preceded in death by his step father, Lloyd Wells; brother, James Cameron; sister, Ellen Cameron Hadd; father-in-law, James Gavord and his mother-in-law, Geraldine Gavord.

Funeral Liturgy will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 20, 2018 at Corpus Christi Parish. Celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Robert J. Kelm. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Mr. Cameron will be taken to the church on Thursday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
