Ida M. Roberts

Roberts, Ida M. Bay City, Michigan Formerly of Saginaw Mrs. Roberts passed away Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at her residence. Age 75 years. The daughter of the late Jonathan Jay and Ida Mae (Burt) Thomson was born September 18, 1938 in Flint, Michigan. Mrs. Roberts was a member of St. Albans Episcopal Church. Mrs. Roberts is survived by four children, Cindy (Michael) Moranec, Sherry (Thomas) Grobaski, Ric Roberts and his partner Jeremiah Kraniak and Jonathan (Shannon) Roberts; nine grandchildren, Joshua and Alex Grobaski, Adam and Michael Kouraimi, Angela (Caleb) King, Zachary Roberts, Terrance (Jennifer) Andersen, Christopher Moranec and Kerstin (Evan) LaCross; four great grandchildren, Adair Wahl, Ya'Mina King, Richard and Audette Andersen and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Mrs. Roberts was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard B. Roberts; one daughter, Deborah Lown and one granddaughter, Caitlyn Roberts. At the request of Mrs. Roberts cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 8, 2014 at St. Alban's Episcopal Church. Officiating will be The Rev. Sharon L. Voelker with inurnment following in the St. Alban's Church Columbarium. Friends may call at St. Alban's Episcopal Church on Monday, September 8, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of services.
