Irma passed away Saturday evening, September 9, 2017 at her residence at the age of 82 years, she was born in Mischeny, Bessarabia and came here in 1952.She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Irma was a retired seamstress, spent many years working in the family business Great Lakes Fabrics.She was a member the Bay Heritage Quilters Guild. Irma was an avid quilter, she made several quilts for many Disabled Veterans and many active duty Veterans. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, fishing, camping, baking and traveling. She is survived by three children, Debra (Craig) Beardslee, Monica (Rich) Bourdlaies, Chris (Nilgun) Klemm, her grandchildren, Joseph (Kristy) Harris, Ronald ( Lindsay) Harris and Neil Klemm; her great grandchildren, Logan, Conner and Oliver Harris; her former husband, Joseph Klemm; her sisters, Erika Joerke; Lotte Penno and Edith Smith. She was predeceased by her parents Immanuel and Helene Wiederrich; her sisters, Erna Wichmann and Alma (Lumm) McCumber. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, September 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Officiating will be Rev. Paul G. Kruse with private interment in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. to receive family and friends on Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. Irma will be taken to the church on Thursday to lie in state from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to the Bay Heritage Quilters Guild or the American Cancer Society or Zion Lutheran Church.
