Kussro, Jack W. Okemos, Michigan Mr. Kussro passed away on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Sparrow Hospital. Age 80 years. The son of the late Edward and Ida (Graf) Kussro was born November 9, 1936 in Bay City, Michigan. He graduated from T.L. Handy High School, Electronic Institute of Detroit and Delta College. Mr. Kussro worked for Dow Corning, Central Foundry and retired in 2000 from General Motors BOC in Lansing. After retiring he enjoyed working in his garden, watching birds, hunting, being outdoors and spending time at their home in Port Richey, FL. Mr. Kussro served in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Kussro is survived by his wife of 55 years the former Leola Helen Erdman; one son, Erik Marshall (Nora) Kussro; one daughter, Kimberly Renee Kussro; six grandchildren, William Kussro, Rebecca Kussro, Aaron Hollingsworth, Alessandra Kussro, Viviana Kussro and Nicholas Kussro; two great grandchildren; one sister, Ruth (George) Hughes and many beloved nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by two brothers, Edward Kussro, Frederick Kussro and sister, Betty Scherf. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell with Committal following in Elm Lawn Cemetery with military honors conducted by the Bay County Veterans Council. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for the 4H Foundation or the donor's favorite charity will be available at the funeral home.
