Jacqueline A. Oelberg

Jacqueline Ann Oelberg was born in Bay City, Michigan on October 3, 1926 to Frederick and Gertrude (Earls) Taylor. Jacqueline was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. She was employed at Mercy Hospital then at Bay Medical Center. She is survived by a daughter Nancy (Michael) Stark of Auburn, sons John (Linda) Oelberg of Midland, James (Rose) Oelberg of Saginaw and a daughter Joan (Dennis) Rajewski of Bay City. She also leaves behind six grandchildren: Andrea and Timothy (Grace) Oelberg, Chris (Arleen) Stark and Julie (Shane) Cotton, and Sara and Ryan Rajewski. Her great grandchildren are Dominic and Andrew Stark, Briella, Tesla and Jensen Oelberg and Cameron and Brandon Cotton, one sister, Norma J. Bowyer of the Villages of Florida, two sisters-in-law, Mildred Taylor of Bay City, Ann (Ted) Waterman of Essexville, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Frederick Lee Oelberg, and a brother, James F. Taylor. The family would like to thank the staff at McLaren Bay Region, E.R., Cardiac Cath Lab and I.C.U. for the kind and compassionate care our mother received during her time of need. Funeral and Committal Services will take place Thursday, May 25, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. John Oelberg with private interment following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Wednesday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday morning from 12:30 p.m. until the time of services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider donations to the Bay County Veterans Council.
