Mr. James Adam Sanchez, of Bay City, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 7, 2015, age 39. He was born on December 9, 1975 in Bay City, MI, and he was a graduate of John Glenn High School. Adam was an excellent salesman. He was so passionate about his work, he was known as "The Ninja" at Labadie Cadillac Buick GMC in Bay City. Adam truly enjoyed his work and his co-workers. He had the ability to help others, not only at work but in his community. On more than one occasion he helped people in serious need as a good samaritan. He loved animals, especially his dogs and cats. He was a NASCAR and hockey fan and enjoyed playing fantasy football. Adam was an outstanding father to his "Lilly Bug". Being a good father was first and foremost in Adam's life and Lilly was the light of his life. Adam is also survived by his wife, Amanda (Gingrich) Sanchez, his eternal soul mate; his mother, Kim (Timothy) Roberson; a grandmother, Patricia VanHaaren; a brother, Felipe (George) Sanchez; five sisters, Janey Sanchez, Michelle Sanchez, Tara Wilson, Brandy (Will) Bentley and Candy (Louie) Adair; his mother-in-law, LouAnne (Don) Rutkowski; his father-in-law, Rick Gingrich; a sister-in-law, Shannon Walker-Moore; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and his beloved dogs. Adam was preceded in death by his dad, Richard Wilson; grandparents and an aunt. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Kawkawlin Community Church. Officiating will be Rev. David Dunn. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Monday from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Adam will lie instate at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the wishes of the family.
