James passed away Friday, June 19, 2020 at Autumn Ridge Gardens AFC at the age of 86 years. He was born in Munger, Michigan on October 12, 1933 to the late Alfred and Agnes Dinsmore. James served his country in the United States Army and was honorably discharged. He married the former Joyce Ann Phillips on June 9, 1956 and were together for 64 years. James worked and retired on June 4, 1999 from Labadie Auto as a mechanic after 43 ½ years. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.
James is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Lee (Stefanie) Dinsmore and Jan (Patrick) Wejrowski; grandchildren, Rory (Jennifer), Robby (Kari) and Bryan (Brittney) Dinsmore, Troy and Tyler (Katie Zawacki) Wejrowski and Tara (Alec) Badour; great grandchildren, Alexis, Jennah, Ellianna, Madison, Nolan, Avery and Aubrey; brothers and sisters, Gloria Gollin, Karen Maki, Larry (Peggy) Dinsmore, Barb (Ed) Carter, Sandy (Mike) Polny, Russ (Debbie) Dinsmore and Wendy (Roger) Lynch and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral and Committal service will take place at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 23, 2020 at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Zach Steinke with private burial in Floral Gardens Cemetery. Friends may visit at the Gephart Funeral Home on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service.
