James E. Flood Sr.

Jim passed away early Monday morning, Jun 19, 2017 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 73 years. The son of the late Eldon and Marie (Lambert) Flood was born October 30, 1943 in Bay City, MI. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish-(St. Anne). Jim retired from Grey Iron Foundry in Saginaw after thirty years of service. He enjoyed junk picking and selling copper with his granddaughters, he liked to work on anything mechanical and enjoyed 4 wheeling. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife, Isabell M. (Bourcier) Flood whom he married June 20, 1970; his children, Julie LaFramboise, Jim (Debra Arnst) Flood and Amy Flood; his grandchildren, Breanna Lucas, Alexis LaFramboise, Braxton Flood and Treyton Flood; his great grandsons, Ezra Jean and Jaxxon Turner. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Sherry Sylvester. The Funeral Service will take place Friday, evening June 23, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. with cremation following. Officiating will be Rev. Joseph Atchinson with cremation following. The family will be present at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Friday to receive family and friends from 2:00 p.m. until the time of services. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
