James W. Goodnight

Goodnight, James W. Sr. Bay City, Michigan Mr. Goodnight passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region. Age 67 years. The son of the late Walter and Lyla (McClure) Goodnight was born December 25, 1947 in Albany, California. Mr. Goodnight was retired from the U.S. Navy after more than twenty years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, music, camping, carpentry and spending time with friends and family. Mr. Goodnight is survived by his three children, Chris (Tracey) Goodnight, James Rickett and Joshua Goodnight; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Larry Goodnight; and one daughter-in-law, Kimberly Goodnight. In addition to his parents Mr. Goodnight was also preceded in death by one son, James Goodnight Jr. At the request of Mr. Goodnight cremation has taken place. Private inurnment will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to the wishes of the family.
