James A. Hughes II

Our loving son, father and brother passed away peacefully, Saturday December 21, 2013 with his family by his side at his sister's residence, at the age of 46 years. He was born March 1, 1967 in Bay City MI. Jim graduated from Wayne State University with a Bachelor's Degree. He worked in the food service and was employed by Dow Chemical Co., Bennigan's and Stacker's. Jim was a musician, had a great love for the outdoors, including; fishing, hunting, boating and that passion he had for the outdoors will live on forever in the hearts of those he loved. Left behind to cherish Jim's memory are his two children; James Anthony Hughes III and Lauren Elizabeth Hughes and their mother; Stephanie Hughes all of Beaverton MI, his mother; Nancy Lee Hughes of Linwood MI, one sister and brother-in-law; Julie and Kevin Przybylski of Auburn MI, his uncle; Dave Hughes of Lansing, MI, two aunts; Mary (Ken) Russell of Interlochen MI and Roxann Heading of Hastings, MI. Jim was preceded in death by his father; James A. Hughes I and his uncle; Mark Heading and his aunt; Jayne Hughes. The Funeral Service for Jim will take place, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Leonard A. Clevenger with interment following in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Jim's family will be present at the funeral home to receive family and friends on Thursday December 26, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday, December 27, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of his funeral service.
