James Leon "Jim" Jameson

Jim passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at McLaren Bay Region with his family by his side. The son of the late Earl and Lillian (Brindley) Jameson was born June 16, 1945 in West Branch, MI. Jim owned and operated his own trucking company and had a passion for his truck and was a member of O.O.I.D.A. He enjoyed Nascar Racing and going camping, listening to old time music. Left behind to cherish his memories are his wife; Carol A. Jameson whom he married January 19, 1979, his children; Steven, Robert (Becky Parker) and Deanna, his grandchildren; Casaundra, Joshua, Samantha, Jake, Sydney, Jordan, Leigha, Trevor and Heather, three great grandchildren; Caleb, Calvin and Jackson, his brothers and sisters; Don (Pat), Donna (Jerry), Joyce (Kenneth), Bruce, Linda (Roger), Bob (Rosemary) and Roger (Jean). In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by one son; Jamie, two brothers; Richard and Wayne. Funeral Services will take place Monday, June 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. Charles Campbell with a graveside committal service following in Floral Gardens Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home on Sunday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services to receive family and friends.
