Killingbeck, James F. "Jim" Linwood, Michigan Mr. Killingbeck passed away Friday evening December 27, 2013 at his residence. The son of the late Clifford G. and Juanita E. (Koehn) Killingbeck was born June 25, 1941 in Wayne, Michigan. Jim retired from General Motors Co. Central Foundries in 1990 and served with the United States Navy. He was a member of the Michigan Sport Buggy Association, Midland Street Association and a founding member of the Mid-Michee Off Roaders . He enjoyed making knifes, carving, jewelry, woodworker, camping, hunting, and riding his motorcycle with friends On October 22, 1961 he married the former Lois M. Vane in Alabaster, MI and she survives his passing along with one daughter and son-in-law; Tammy Sue and Troy Thelen of Lansing, one son; J. Scott Killingbeck of Coleman, one sister; Wanda Killingbeck, three brothers and two sisters-in-law; Dale and Pat Killingbeck, Duane and Priscilla Killingbeck and Eugene and Carol Killingbeck, many nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Rev. John Tousciuk pastor of Garfield United Methodist Church with private interment in Sims-Whitney Cemetery in AuGres. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. Memorial cards for the Lymphoma Foundation will be available at the funeral home.
