James Thomas LaPan Bay City, Michigan Jim passed away early Tuesday morning May 27, 2014 at Close To Home Assisted Living in Bay City at the age of 73 years. The son of the late William and Edna (Schwab) was born May 15, 1941 in Bay City and has resided here all of his life. Jim was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by one brother and sister-in-law; Gerald R. and Linda LaPan of Bay City, two nieces; Julie and Tony Welter and Jennifer and Paul Reittenbach, nine great nieces and nephews. At the request of Mr. Lapan private services have taken place and inurnment took place in Floral Gardens Cemetery .
