James A. Lefler

James passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at his residence with his family by his side at the age of 86 years. James was born in Bay City on September 8, 1931 to the late Clifford and Lena (Constantino) Lefler. He graduated from T.L. Handy High School in 1950 and received a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Central Michigan University in 1956. James was employed for many years as a bookkeeper for the YWCA. James loved playing cards, especially Schmeer. He played five days a week at the Knights of Columbus, Eagles and Happy Hearts.

James is survived by his loving sister, Lois Roach; several nieces and nephews who will miss their uncle Jim.
