Jamie L. (Gath-Martinez) Ballard

Ballard, Jamie L. (Gath-Martinez) Bay City, Michigan Jamie passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, March 2, 2014 at her residence at the age of 43 years following a lengthy illness. She was born July 5, 1970 in Monroe, Michigan. She graduated from Central High School and then went on to further her education at Davenport University where she received her bachelor's degree and her master's degrees in Accounting and continued on her career as an accountant. In her free time Jamie enjoyed gardening, canning and especially spending time with her family. Left to cherish Jamie's memory are her husband; Wayne Lee Ballard whom she married on August 8, 2008, four children; Robert A. Danks, Aaron L. Martinez, Tyler L. Martinez and Alea M. Martinez, her step children; Wayne L. Ballard Jr., Teaira N. Ballard and Bradley A. Ballard, one granddaughter; Annika Lee Marie Martinez, her step grandchildren; Jared and Matthew, her mother; Marsha L. Tober, her grandmother; Virginia A. Tober, her sisters and brother-in-law; Chris A. Gath and Kimberly (Righter) and Brock Kennedy, her uncles and aunts; Richard and Elvira Tober, Pauline and Curt Hammond, several nieces and nephews, cousins, family members and friends including her special friends; Linda Morin, Kimberly "Dawn" Anthony and Lisa Danks. She was preceded in death by her grandfather; Rudolph Tober. Funeral Services will take place on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 12:00 O'clock Noon at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Charles Campbell with interment following in St. Patrick's Cemetery. The family will be present at the funeral home to receive family and friends on Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday from 11:00 a.m. and until the time of service .
