Jane passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 72 years. She was born in Bay City on October 5, 1945 to Edward and Margaret (Jacobs) Corrion. Jane married Charles Collins on October 28, 1983 in Bay City and spent 35 years together. Jane worked and retired as a registered nurse and in her spare time she enjoyed doing crafts, knitting and spending time up north.
Jane is survived by her husband, Charles S. Collins; children, Aughtly "Ed" Ayers, Andrew Ayers, Jennifer Ayers, Thomas (Karin) Collins, Tammy Samborn and her special friend Brandon Charboneau; grandchildren, Margaret, Liberty and Samuel Collins, Mitchell, Marissa and C.J. Samborn and Sammi Jo Ayers; brothers and sisters, Raymond (Noreen) Corrion, Lorraine (Richard) McNally, Lois Englehardt and Paul (Sue) Corrion; sisters-in-law, Ila and Mary Corrion and Cynthia Collins; brother-in-law, Richard Kunkel and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Christopher Ayers and brothers and sisters, Joseph, William, Robert and Janet Corrion, Elaine Jacobs and Patricia Kunkel.
Per Jane's wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial visitation will take place at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, August 30, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Private inurnment will take place at a later date in Oak Ridge Cemetery Columbarium.
