Janet L. Reif

Mrs. Reif passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at Brian's House. Age 92 years. The daughter of the late Frederick and Lucille (Archambeau) Schmidt was born April 18, 1928 in Bay City, Michigan. Mrs. Reif was a member of Grace Church and was retired from Weber Construction. She enjoyed baking and was known as the "Cookie Lady".
Mrs. Reif is survived by her two sons, Lawrence (Daniel Zaremba) Reif Jr. and Thomas (Judy) Reif; grandchildren, Nick (Kavita) Reif and Meghan (Nabil) Fayad; great granddaughters, Nikita and Rayna Reif and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence J. "Bub" Reif, whom she married on May 1, 1948 and her sister, Carol Martek.
At the request of Mrs. Reif cremation has taken place. A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Grace Church-West Campus. The service will be for both Mr. and Mrs. Reif. Officiating will be Pastor Jeff Temple. Friends may call at the church on Saturday, July 18, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
