Janice passed away Thursday, June 20, 2013 at McLaren Bay Region at the age of 64 years. The daughter of the late Le Roy and Georgianna (Fournier) Campbell was born August 24, 1948 in Bay City. She was a member of St. Mary the Assumption Catholic Church. Janice retired from McLaren Bay Region as the assistant director of Behavioral Health. She graduated from the University of Michigan and was a member of the Sigma Theta Tau fraternity. Janice was an adjunct professor at Saginaw Valley State University, Delta College and Davenport University. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren she also enjoyed crocheting, painting , reading and doing crossword puzzles. She survived by three children and their spouses, Timo and Shelly Tiitola, Liisa and Nathan Pembroke, Beth and Bryan Russell, her loving grandchildren, Dylan Pembroke, Greysen Pembroke, Hunter Tiitola, Kennady Tiitola and Betsy Russell, her brothers, sisters and their spouses, Duane and Pat Campbell, Karen Pridgen, Pat and Bruce Clark, Tom and Jenny Campbell, Agnes and Greg Laube, Lee and Barb Campbell, many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Hannu Matti Tiitola on November 6, 2010 and her sister, Lisa Campbell. The Funeral Liturgy will take place Friday, June 28, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary the Assumption Catholic Church. The celebrant will be Rev. Fr. Steven M. Gavit with a private Rite of Committal at Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin. At the request of Janice cremation has taken place. Friends may call at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. on Thursday, June 27, 2013 from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Friday at the Church on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of mass. The Vigil for the Deceased will take place Thursday evening at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
