Janis Lynn Judson

Judson, Janis Lynn Bay City, Michigan Janis Lynn Judson, age 63 years. Passed away Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Toni and Trish House in Auburn, Michigan. She was born in Bay City to the late Mabel (Walz) and Merrill (Jud) Judson on January 8, 1948. Janis resided in Bay City until the age of 15 when her family moved in 1962 to California where she spent the next 30 years. Janis graduated from James Monroe High School and attended Cal State University and pursued her career in Personnel Administration, owned a tavern, owned a Secretarial Service and a Day Care. In 1992 she moved back to Bay City. She was currently employed by Shinedling, Shinedling, and Haller. Janis loved to laugh and have fun. Her family, friends and cats meant the most to her in life. The activities she enjoyed were playing ping pong, going to top fuel drag races, going to concerts and most of all hanging out with her brother. Janis was predeceased by her father Jud in 1973, her mother Mabel in 2005 and her brother, Ronald Judson in 2004. She is also predeceased by her grandparents; Mabel and Christain Walz, G.V. and Lillian Judson, aunts and uncles; Margaret Walz, Theron and Louise Walz, Frank and Jane Morrow, William and Alma French, Bill and Maxine Toohey and William Judson. Janis is survived by her special cousins; Linda and Tim Perry, Bill and Mary Ann French, Pat and Sandy French, Don and Jeannie Judson, Dick and Margaret Morrow, her cats; Ozzy and Harriet, special friends; Doreen Born of Saginaw, Susan Schliemann of New York, Janice Gray of California, Lori Hanna of Auburn Hills, Ann and Tom Burton of Glennie, MI, co-worker and friend; Margaret Bosley and many other friends. Janis is also survived by one aunt; Virginia Judson and many other cousins. A Memorial Service will take place Saturday, June 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc.. Officiating will be The Rev. Fr. William W. Boli. At the request of Janis cremation has taken place. Family and Friends will gather at the funeral home on Friday, June 24, 2011 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. and until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorial cards for the Humane Society of Bay County or the Toni and Trish House will be available at the funeral home.
