Jason A. LaPlant

Jason passed away at his residence at the age of 46. Jason was born May 24, 1974 in Midland, Michigan; he was a member of Christian Assembly Church and loved everything that had to do with music.
Jason is survived by his two children, Paige and Reece LaPlant and their mother, Julie LaPlant; mother and father, Kathleen and Richard LaPlant; brother, Russell LaPlant and his children, Billy, Briana, Jared and Dylan; sisters, Tara (LaPlant) Bartoy and her children, Lucas and Liam, Amanda Shepherd and Caietlyn Rene Shepherd-Babcock. Jason was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Viola LaPlant and Janis Cotie.
A memorial service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Christian Assembly Church. Officiating will be Pastor Matt Place. The family will be present at Gephart Funeral Home on Friday, January 8, 2021 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. We are currently still under the governor's executive order of social distancing and limited to 25 visitors in the chapel at one time. You may experience a wait while paying your respects, face coverings must be worn. Donations may be made to Christian Assembly Church or the donor's favorite charity.
