Jayson passed away Saturday, December 6, 2014 at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak following injuries received in an automobile accident. Age 27 years. He was currently employed by Steinkopf's Nursery and Tree Farm in Caro and at Tri City Motor Speedway. Jayson had a great love and passion for auto racing and cars, enjoyed hunting, golfing, hockey and playing Texas hold'em, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his children and family. Left behind to cherish his memory are his fiancée; Jillian Magiera, his children; Reid Douglas, Tayte Alan and Skyler Paul and Skyler's mother; Samantha Lewandowski, his father; Jay (Shelly Johnson) Leisentritt, his mother; Amii (Derik Jones) Friesorger, Jillian's parents; Larry and Stephanie Magiera, her brothers; Brett, Daniel, Ethan, Riley Magiera, Brett's son; Daylen, his grandparents; Douglas and Delma Friesorger, Paula Hamlin, Karen Codere, Jan Jones and Sandy Kuizenga, his great grandmothers; Agnes Hunter and Bernice Friesorger-Phinney, his sisters; Katie and Miranda Johnson, close family; Ronald and Nancy Yurgaites, Lisa Leisentritt, Brett Yurgaities and Shawn Kerr and other family and friends too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by his brother; "A.J." Leisentritt, his grandfather; Paul Leisentritt and his grandmother; Patricia Windburne. At Jayson's request cremation has taken place. A Celebration of his life will take place Friday, December 12, 2014 at 12:00 o'clock Noon at Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Officiating will be Pastor Scott McIntyre with inurnment following in Calvary Cemetery in Kawkawlin, MI. The family will be present at the funeral on Thursday to receive family and friends from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services.
