Jean B. Murray

Murray, Jean B. of Bay City, Michigan passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012 at Brian's House. Age 82 years. The daughter of the late Paul and Josephine Jablonski was born December 4, 1929 in Bay City and has resided here all of her life. Jean graduated from Bay City Central High School in 1947 and continued her education at Michigan State University receiving her BA and Masters Degree in Education. She retired from Bay City Public School System and taught at MacGregor, Washington, Kolb and McAlear-Sawden Schools and was a life member of the M.E.A. Her hobbies included gardening, walking and reading. She is survived by her husband of sixty three years Milton C. Murray, five children and their spouses; Milton Murray Jr. and his wife Carol, Barbara Murray and her husband Richard Leslie, S.J. Murray, William Murray and his wife Linda and Michael Murray and his wife Deb, eight grandchildren; Jenny, Zachary, Matthew, Rebekah, Benjamin, William, Kevin, Brian, seven great grandchildren, three sisters; Bernadine, Betty and Mary Ann and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters; Emily, Evelyn and Geraldine and five brothers; Paul, Edwin, Al, Harry and Robert. Funeral Services will take place Thursday July 26, 2012 at 12:00 O'clock Noon at the Gephart Funeral Home, Inc. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. and until the time of service.
